Kiki and Koko both have a lot of toys yet Kiki is the one always finding ways to play with them. Koko will once in a while surprise us and chaise one of the toys of her own. Koko is more likely to play when we throw the toy to her sister and she decided to beat her at her own game and get to the toy first. Kiki on the other hand makes every toy her favorite toy. This morning I went back to bed at 6am and Kiki decided she wants to play. I grabbed the toy from her and put it on the bed. This calmed her down and she jumped on the bed and went to sleep. When we woke up I gave her the toy back and she has been going crazy with it. She trows it in the air and catches it, she flips and turns trying to reach it, she puts it in one spot, walks away, wags her butt and jumps for the toy. She is cute and I know all cats do this but it’s still adorable they way she does it.
This is Kiki twisting and turning trying to get the mouse that she pushed away herself. It’s hard to get a good picture of her when she is moving in a million directions.
She drags this poor mouse everywhere! Her sister Koko saw what she was doing and came up behind her. She just smelled the mouse and walked away.
I guess Koko is not impressed with the toy. We really do try to get them all the best toys. This one is filled with cat nip which I’m told is supposed to calm them down but I fear it works the opposite with my cats. We even bought them a mouse that you control with a remote and that did not last long either. Kiki grabbed it by the tail and off into the water bawl it went. What nice children we have. They never fail to entertain us.
